And Modojo has gone through each title and decided which are worthy of your purchase and which are worthy of the trashcan.
We're Not Worthy!
- Namco Museum Battle Collection
- Midway Arcade Treasures: Extended Play
- Gradius Collection
- Capcom Classics Reloaded
- Metal Slug Anthology
- Salamander Portable
- Taito Legends Power Up (Import)
- Activision Hits Remixed
- Sega Genesis Collection
- EA Replay
I gotta say I don't agree with his choices for Sega Genesis Collection and EA Replay. In fact, I think Sega Genesis Collection may be the greatest compilation to ever be released. How would you fellas rate these games?

I agree for myself I think the EA Classics Wing Commander alone would be worth it. People need to use a little less bias and do there homework before putting out there what not to buy. If you determine that the games that are part of a compilation was never popular then I would say don't buy it, but in all the compilations the games were best sellers for there time whether the reviewer liked them or not.

I agree, Wing Commander is enough for me to want it. And the Genesis collection? The only thing that could've made that better is the Sega Ages remake of Phantasy Star 2-which I'm still hoping comes to the States eventually.

Midway Extended Play is *DEFINITELY* the best compilation ever, because it features Mortal Kombat I, II and III. 'nuff said.

First I've heard of that Taito package. If it's the same as the console collection I'd be very interested. Likewise for a PSP version of the Tecmo collection.
I agree on the Activision set. I sick of seeing Atari 2600 games when there are far better versions of most of the same games from the Atari 800. The Atari computers are badly ignored when it comes to complilations. I could really go for a set of the classic Synapse games.
