Sony Europe releases new PSP ad, head scratching ensues

All right, we admit, Sony Europe has the most insane and off-the-wall ideas when it comes to advertising. This latest advertisement for our lovely PSP shows a man and woman pulling, stretching, snapping, and popping each other's faces while talking about ... well, we weren't really paying attention because this is just ridiculous. We imagine it had to do with the features of the PSP, all with sexy British accents!
"Sexy British accents" - ??? I really hope that was sarcasm! These two are what we refer to in the UK as CHAVS - aka lowlife scum thickos (or as they would say "fickos"). Why Sony would put them in a PSP add is beyond me. Couple that with the childish text at the end and its crazy.
If I was a parent & my child wanted a PSP but I happened to see that advert on my telly, that kid would get a DS with brain training & next week: Piano recitals.
I felt like I lost IQ points watching that so god knows what self-respecting people will think of the console.
they r not british accents, they are horrible english accents (as aforementioned) scottish, irish and welsh don't speak like that. also, it is a stupid advert. who would buy a psp off the back of it?
I actually laughed at the commercial ... but mainly because it was pure stupidity . Why dont they learn that the only way the PSP will sell as a gaming device is if they will actually put in cool gameplay movies :)
I don't have sound on my PC, so I have no idea what they're saying, but I think I get the message: the PSP is flexible. Guess they couldn't come up with any better ideas to communicate that idea than people with flexible faces.
Great, so they spent how much on this? Meanwhile, I've not seen a single TV spot for GoW Chains of Olympus, which debuted at number 29 in the sales charts.
Awesome work from SCEE's marketing men again!!!!!!111

They've really lost the plot on this one.

I thought it was pretty straightforward, and I didn't even watch it with sound.
"PSP is flexible."
