Update: Our previous post regarding $10 off PS3/PSP games at amazon.com was taken down, due to codes being one time use only. Sorry for the confusion.
Thankfully, another deal has sprung up in its place. You can get Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles for only $20. It earned an 8.5 from PSP Fanboy's Nick Doerr, who said "if you love Castlevania, this is the definitive game to get."

Same here. Looks like it was a single use or limited use code.

I got a message saying "Seriously, knock it off - you're like the 20th person to try and use this. It's been used already. Give it up." Weird.
Looks like I'll keep waiting for EoJ.

I love Castlevania, and I hated this game. Slow, unresponsive controls and I found it very difficult. I sent it back to GameFly after about an hour.

Also a Castlevania fan, I have to agree with you. Even with the SNES Dracula X being my favorite sidescroller-castlevania, since getting the good ending, I haven't played it again. The 30 frames per second ruined it for me. It makes all the animations choppy and the water raft scene look like utter crap. The general squandering of the PSPs potential on this one was enough to bug me. It could have been so much more. The SotN port is also subpar, but that was just a bonus anyway. Sure, overall the game is still okay, but it could have been great.

Unfortunately I agree - I can see why this was a *monster* years ago, and it is nice for historical reasons, but the DS games obviate the usefulness of this as a gaming experience.

I'm sorry the coupon bit people where they wipe, but thanks tons for announcing that Dracula X was priced at $19.99. That, combined with Liberty City for $10.00 and free shipping for both, rejuvenated the classics section of my PSP library. (I'm currently in therapy because pspfanboy is encroaching on my budget.)
Speaking of deals: Anyone who's tried to buy Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth in the past few months has seen the price skyrocket because vendors no longer have it. But did you know you can buy the game directly from Square-Enix for $29.99?
Anyone who missed out the first two times should pick up Lenneth now. I did, and the game arrived new and in perfect condition. You won't do better elsewhere: No third party I've encountered has offered a new copy of Lenneth at its original price.

I loved both Vice City and Liberty City Stories. GTA is really fun on a portable, good for short play too, except when you leave it for a month and forget your way around the city.

I bought both games *yesterday* at 11:00 a.m. and elected for free shipping. *Today,* they were delivered to my door at 12:30 p.m. -- amazing.
JPN: I love GTA, but I'm always setting those games aside for a month. The free-form structure makes me forget I had to learn my way around.
Though I already owned a copy of Liberty City Stories for the PS2, gushing accounts of the idiomatic gameplay on the PSP have always made me curious. Amazon's temporary pricing at $10 made me actively interested -- at that price, the game was a perfect filler. (Rockstar ought to release a third PSP installment -- really frugal gamers will wait for years hoping to pick up a GH-priced trilogy.)
I don't want to start Dracula Chronicles until I've finished Silent Hill Origins, which I've been putting off (because I love it and it's the easiest/shortest game in the series). I'm half-way through; if my girlfriend's in a good mood, I'll probably play complete it this weekend.
I'm really curious to know whether the version of SotN on the UMD is the same as the PSOne download on the official site.
