Although Final Fantasy Dissidia has yet to be announced outside Japan, we're still fervently watching out for more tidbits on this hotly anticipated title. However, the last we heard about anything officially confirmed in this game was back in December, and with Nintendo coming off strong with another mixed-cameo fighter -- Super Smash Bros. Brawl -- perhaps the PSP-exclusive Dissidia has been forgotten amongst the Mario and Link duels everyone's been having. Or maybe everyone's just too enraptured in getting their FF fix from the recently released Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.
In any case, we're still very excited about this next PSP exclusive from Square Enix, and wouldn't want gamers out there to forget about this megaton game. With little known about the character roster, there leaves a lot of room for speculation. So in all our best efforts, we present this
Dissidia feature highlighting the top twenty
Final Fantasy supporting characters we want to see in the game. Arguably, in a game like this, a good cast of playable characters is crucial; it's working for
Brawl, and it'll undoubtedly go the same way for
Dissidia. But why only supporting characters you might ask? Well, you'll find that out soon enough.

Shouldn't Cid have been on this list lol, unless he's a given I guess? I mean he's been a "supporting" character in every FF I've played.

Of that list, only Seifer, Kain and possibly Auron stand a chance at making the cut.
Almost that entire list was protagonists, many from the same game. Perhaps they missed the obvious theme of 1 protagonist and 1 antagonist from each title with the only possibly exceptions being in the form of gray area characters Seifer and Kain. However Im pretty sure Ultimacia is taking the baddy spot for FFVIII so Seifer will be out of luck. Im keeping my fingers crossed for Kain though.

Nice list I really did like Jecht even though I never got to see how He fights. I always thought He was cool. Yuna also would be great. Seeing that fan made trailer of Dead Fantasy she would be a perfect. Auron really needs to be in this game too. Red XIII would also be sweet. Tifa and Rikku also would not be bad if added.
As for if there is any chance of cameo's from other SE game I would like to see either Sora or Riku from Kingdom Hearts.

I'd love to see most of the characters ya have listed, specially Sabin and Tifa, man, those 2 are special for this game, also Kain vs Edgar!!!!! or Edge from IV vs Shadow!!!
If Rikku is gonna make it into the Game, i'd rather see her FF-X2 version, seems more bad ass

jecht wasn't OFFICIALLY confirmed, just found on a poster of the game, if that poster was made by square then its most likely but we dont know if he's actually in it yet
