What is up with SNK??? Metal Slug Anthology was supposed to come out last year, and ever since, it's been constantly pushed back. We said it was coming out in February, and now it appears it's been delayed ... again. amazon.com shows a March release, which has us questioning: how hard is it to port over decades-old games? ive been looking forward to this game since like june. i once spent 12 hours straight (well almost straight) playing metal slug with my friend. we plan on doing it again when it finally comes out for the psp. which will probably be never.

I wouldn't boo SNK just yet. They could have put out a game with a bad frame-rate and mid-mission loadtimes. Instead they delay the piss out of the game to ensure when it does come out that it's of good quality. A blessing in disguise.

Ok I disagree on two points. They're hard to port to low memory systems and secondly, they are NOT decades old. The 6th iteration was released less than two years ago, on AtomisWave if I`m not mistaken.

Agreed. This sucks. The PSP is a great venue for this game, and they're dropping the ball. No excuse for a vintage port to take this long.

how is it hard to port it when you can already play it in full speed on an emulator for the psp? if anything they could have just merged the emulator with the games and put it on an umd like ea did with their classic replays/
