I never got the chance to play Peter Molyneux's Syndicate back in the early 90s, even though it was released on nearly every platform imaginable. However, thanks to EA Replay, I'll be able to finally do so anywhere I want, even if it's nearly 13 years after its release.
If you had any questions about Syndicate, this video will show you pretty much everything and then some. The game combines several different genres like real-time tactics, shooting and simulator into something that was pretty ahead of its time when it was released. You'll be able to get your hands on Syndicate and 13 other classic EA titles when EA Replay ships Oct. 31.

I never knew this game came out on console. It looks pretty poor compared to the home PC version.

I loved Syndicate, but why does this look like shite??? The PC version, which is old as hell, owns this on every level. Damnit! My heart palpatated when I saw Syndicate being released, and now it murmurs :(

The PC version was a lot better than the console versions, but trying to get it to work on modern PCs is a nightmare. Oh but having it on the PSP, even if it is a console port, is going to be awesome! Persuadotron here I come!

About the only thing similar to the original is the music in parts :) I'm part of an effort to rewrite the original game, using the original game files. We hope to have ports to portable platforms like the PSP, or pocket PCs or Palm Pilots. It's also possible to get the original game running in DosBox.
