PSP Fan Art Fridays: Mega Man

Do you want to share your PSP-related fan art? Send us an e-mail. A new piece of fan art will be shared every Friday.

We really enjoyed the Mega Man remakes that hit the PSP. They had beautiful graphics to accompany the classic gameplay. Unfortunately, their poor sales killed any chance of future Mega remakes. Fred Andrew Urzua seems to have come up with a way to sell Mega Man: combine him with Hello Kitty. After all, there could be a Hello Kitty branded plague and Kitty fans would line up to get infected. It's impressive that this piece of art retains the cuteness of Hello Kitty, while still having all the distinct features of Mega Man. All that's left is for Capcom to give Sanrio a call, and make Urzua's vision a reality. If you like the above fan art as much as we do, surf on over to Urzua's deviantART page to see his other work. That, or you can let Urzua know what you think of the art in our comments section.

Amazon UK accepting pink PSP preorders

Amazon UK accepting pink PSP preorders
Last week, we brought you news of the newest edition to Sony's PSP lineup - the pink PSP. Now, Amazon UK is accepting preorders for the very unmanly portable. But despite what the previous post mentioned of the price being £169, Amazon is selling it for the low price of £149.

You wanna hear even better news? Once you buy this, you won't worry about fending off big, burly men trying to steal your pink PSP, but you most definitely will have to keep an eye out for your sister who most likely will want to throw on a couple Hello Kitty stickers.

Bounty Hounds lets you blow up aliens

From the developers of Hello Kitty: Rescue Mission (hey, developers gotta pay the bills somehow, right?) comes the PSP-exclusive shooter Bounty Hounds. It's been a long time since we last heard about this game, but Namco Bandai has blown the covers off this game big time. The main gameplay involves you dual-wielding Halo 2-style, and you'll obviously have to choose the right weapons for the right occassion. In a feat of technical marvel, the developers have managed to squeeze a feature that we thought only the PlayStation 3 could do: real-time weapons swapping. With 500 weapons and items you can equip, and a unique energy field mode, this game is looking up to not be just a good shooter, but an original one as well.
