Slim Down for Summer with That's Fit

Deal of the day: New round of PSP price drops at Play-Asia

Deal of the day: New round of PSP price drops at Play-AsiaPlay-Asia sure has been on a roll this week. First it was Gitaroo Man Lives for only $20, and now they've recently slashed prices on even more games.
I'm not too sure how import friendly any of these games are, and quite frankly, there are a few of them on the list I'm not familiar with at all. However, with the incredibly cheap prices of King's Field and Myst, it looks like I may have to pull the trigger.

King's Field: worst PSP game ever

PSP Fanboy is proud to provide extensive coverage of King's Field, now known as IGN's "worst PSP game ever." The game hilariously provides some truly horrendous graphics, ridiculous load times, and awfully dated gameplay mechanics that make you wonder why anyone would pay money to subject themselves to such a horror. Watch the videos of the game, and revel in the fact that it wasn't you that had to play.

Then, send your hate mail to Chris P for not writing one, but two stories about this game since he's joined.

Famitsu reveals new King's Field images

Famitsu reveals new King's Field imagesEveryone's favorite Japanese gaming mag, Famitsu, has recently revealed new images of From Software's King's Field Advance II. You may have heard of King's Field, which is a first-person RPG, before because it first appeared on the PS1 sometime in the early 1900s.

These new screens show some pretty nasty enemies like a golem and some sort of flying devil. Pretty scary, eh?

Look for King's Field Additional II to be released around Aug. 14.

King's Field receives a makeover

King's Field receives a makeover
I have some fond memories playing King's Field on the original Playstation. I distinctly remember my then 7-year-old brother constantly calling Funcoland to get tips when he was stuck in the game and always getting hung up on as soon as the employees heard his voice. I have to hand it to the little guy, though, he had persistency.

From Software is giving the PS1 title a remake by bringing King's Field Advance 1, a first-person RPG, to the PSP July 20, and The Magic Box has just posted a slew of new pics.

The game will feature enhanced graphics and sound and will include mini-games such as, a slot machine, roulette and poker.
That's like four games in one; how can you beat that?
