From the same folks that brought us brought Japan Solfege: Sweet Harmony, comes a new RPG called Mimana: IYAR Chronicle. Exactly what's in store here, we're not sure as our Japanese skills still need some fine tuning. However, this should be interesting to those who can't get enough J-RPGs with cliché blue-haired heroes and scatterbrained female companions.
The game is developed and published by GungHo. You can check out more on the game at its official site here.
Well, I would say "I can't get enough J-RPGs with cliché blue-haired heroes and scatterbrained female companions", but there are almost none of them on PSP to speak of. In america, that is.
Game looks fine according to the few screenies, but I won't say anything more until I get a glimpse of the Battle System. Turn-based or realtime, any of those work for me. I just hope it's good.
Wow. Another JRPG that I will never see in English. How exciting. /end sarcasm/.
@ JeremyR Well, it's not my fault either because I buy the RPGs on the PSP, including the crapfest that was Astonishia Story and Wild Arms XF. Well, at least Atlus still cares a little even though they only bring over GBA ports. Sigh...
Well, at least it's only the singlular form. The plural form has been run into the ground here in the States (and likely any/everywhere else in the first-, maybe even second-, world). At least BIONICLE hides it a bit.

I am very happy to see my beloved PSP succeed so much in Japan, so many Japanese games coming out for it, etc.
But we are really being ignored here, where is the love? You love us, we'll love you back. : (

Sigh. Another game, another Japanese exclusive. I hope Sony crashes and burns. -_-;

Not Sony's fault that no one bought the RPGs that 3rd parties brought over previously, and so almost no one will bring over new ones.

Did I miss something? Exactly when did Sony have anything to do with this game, other than licensing the title in Japan?
Anyway looks like this game will have every overused cliche in RPGs.

AGH, "CHRONICLE"!
