Worldwide PSP releases for the week of Apr. 20

It appears that this week's theme is all about "balance." There's a disproportionate allotment between regional PSP titles this week, and we can't help but think that the love needs to be spread more evenly. Just take a look at this week's schedule to see what we mean.
NA Games:
EU Games:
Asian Games:
Continuing with the "balance" theme, we're pointing out that a lot of Japan's new games are re-releases. Take
Vampire Chronicle (
Darkstalkers) for example; this game has already been printed twice -- three times if you include this one! What's going on here guys?

I'm surprised they still charge money for Media Manager when there's at least a few free (and superior) alternatives.

Nobunaga's Ambition on PSP? I wonder if it's an original game or some port.

PSP is hitting a horrible slow spot. I don't get it. This would be a great time to bring out some of those lesser known RPGs that aren't licensed yet, but the PSP is dead in the water until almost -October-. Talk about pathetic.

What comes out then? I love my PSP, but except for Space Invaders Extreme there isn't anything on the horizon as far as I can see.

Is that FLAC support I see in the PSP Media Manager 2.5 entry on Amazon? Does that mean the PSP will have a firmware upgrade to support FLAC? Hmmmm....
I'd rather have PSP-DivX, but oh well.

What is the point of Media Manager when you can put files on the memory stick yourself?
Also I am getting really worried about this slowdown in releases.

Apart from r-type and Clank, what is the next major game coming out? Is it gonna be Dissidia, or am I jumping the gun?

Kia : Secret Agent Clank , Ecochrome and a new MX vs. ATV game are some pretty noteworthy games for the summer period ;)

What are some other media managers out there?
I'm new to the PsP and was curious how the media stuff works. Getting movies and music on there seems easy enough... just looking for more info on file naming and things of that nature.
Is there a website/manager anyone can recommend for some info?

It's not exactly a mystery - PSP software sells decently in Japan, so in Japan it gets software.
In the rest of the world it bombs horribly, so it gets cheaply made stuff like puzzle games.
And yes, I know Crisis Core & GoW sold something like 300,000 copies, but considering the size of the franchises vs the size of the user base, those flopped pretty badly. The 360 has a userbase around that of the PSP, yet games often hit the million mark, even lousy ones. The two top games of the PSP for probably 6 months only hit 300,000?

This is a chance for people who have a backlog of games to play before the new stuff comes to get through it. I know I have tons of games I haven't even bought yet, let alone played. Still need to get my hands on Tokobot, and finish some of these games I have, like Patapon. Isn't that sad?
Its hard to decide which games to buy when you're on low funds.
