American PC Store update for March 27th

Not a bad haul this week. While most of the update consists of videos that are also going up on the PS3 Store, there's also an R-Type Command demo which might help persuade a lot of you whether the game's worth a purchase or not. Here's the full release list:

It may seem a bit cruel to release trailers for Gran Turismo 5 if you haven't got a PS3 yet. If you watch these videos and still don't feel like picking one up then make sure you cross your fingers and hope that one day - one day - Gran Turismo for PSP finally gets released.

Anyone else have errors when trying to download demos through the PSP store directly to the PSP? I connect my PSP to the computer and download the demo installer and then open it and it says installing all the way to 100% then says "an error occurred" and the file won't open on my PSP. Anyone else have this problem. I had it with the Wipeout Pulse and Flatout Head-On demos as well but got them to work eventually.

try deactivating the psp, then reactivate, then redownload the demo.

The UK store got just one item this week - Reel Fishing, a PSone game that managed a 1.4 score on Gamespot first time around.

What the hell is the point of having a store if you're only going to update it:
A) infrequently at best
B) with complete rubbish
C) with no desire to use your shop as a showcase for quality

Sony (Europe) is sucking this week

Damn, I saw the screen shot for R-type and assumed it was a space themed side scrolling shooter (like my favorite game for NES, LifeForce) only to find out its a turn based strategy game... oh well
