Thanks for the reference; as mentioned in the article, I just randomly came across the game. Still, quite saddening that a great game like LocoRoco was copied.

really though the way i see it, why not. it would be appalling if it were a large company creating a game for a console and making money off it but as far as i can tell, it's a personal project of a group of people that even cited locoroco & other games as a source of inspiration. it's a flash game available for people to play on the web for free and a fun one at that. not as good as locoroco certainly but a commendable effort.

Hey what's the big deal? Its free and not causing anyone harm. There's always people making mario and zelda clones with Flash, and this is no exception. If anything, it only further establishes the popularity of Loco Roco. On top of it all, they referenced their inspirations.

They mention it's free for now, for testing purposes. Implying that they intend to release a refined version of the game for commercial purposes later on.
This is a pretty horrendous game, but maybe it's just the music that makes me want to stab someone.
I'm sure no one remembers this cause it was posted on pspfanboy a few months ago.... that's way beyond the memory capacity of the readers here. But there was a Lumines flash game clone, and that was not bad. Compared to this, that clone was at least decent.
