While reading Destructoid, I came across a reference to new screens for Final Fantasy II Anniversary Edition at Famitsu. While we've seen plenty of screens for Final Fantasy I, there haven't been many of II. That's some nice looking 2D up there. I especially like the look of the monster. He looks scarier than a male Sailor Moon cosplayer. Is one of these Final Fantasy titles your favorite or is your fav Final Fantasy still not announced for PSP yet?

alfa? I thought 7 was the divider between 'hardcore RPG' and 'teen angst & cutscene ridden'?
But on topic, those really do look sweet ...

I've heard (Shane from EGM) that FFII was better. So if they are released separately then we know which one to get.

Unless they changed the leveling system in II, it is certainly not a better game. While the graphics are nice they arent so nice that I can bring myself to pay 30$ each when I could buy them both for about 15$ on the GBA. If they inclube the original NES versions, or more significant improvements than have been previously announced I'll consider them. Beware though, if FF2 Anniversary Edition remains true to its source material it will be an awful game.
