Every month, Sony offers an EXE file they call the "Content Pack" which contains a variety of files, like videos, music and wallpapers for your PSP. This month's pack is (surprise!) pretty good, as it contains some fantastic wallpapers and the ever-impressive God of War II trailer. You'll also see some Rogue Galaxy previews, which are actually formatted for PSP's widescreen. Impressive! Even better: this installer will install the Syphon Filter and Killzone: Liberation demos for you, if you've been having difficulty doing it yourself.
This mont's package clocks in at a hefty 103MB. Feel free to visit Sony's official US website to download.

So I guess the content pack is going to be a advertisement platform for the PS3, what a load of CRAP I bought a PSP for PSP stuff not to be a billboard for the PS3.

Im glad they are putting more "content, in their content packs. I think its a very good idea to bundle in demo. However, unlike you trekster, if i were sony i would be doing some cross promotion too. I mean, its all a part of the playstation family, its not like they are advertising Viaos or something.

An EXE. How typical of Sony. Let's shun the Mac OS X users. It's not like we caused them great annoyance with the exploding batteries (Yes, Sony made batteries for Apple). It's not like any of them want to use Sony products (MiniDisc, PSP, Walkman, Walkman Phones, Sony Reader...). And Heaven forbid we should actually want to access this content DIRECTLY FROM THE PSP.
Anyway, looking at the content, Sony really isn't giving those with small memory sticks and no Homebrew dreams any good reason to upgrade to larger sticks (aside from videos) and those of us with fewer qualms about modifications from having legitimate (IE: not home-converted videos or homebrew) to use our memory sticks legitimately.

Anyway sweet.More Killzone Demos because FTW.
P.S The irony with Trekster is that he probably wears those shirts that have the Giant "Nike" or "Adidas" Logos on them.

I see both sides - it *is* called the PSP Content Pack, so having so much stuff that is obviously adware while they could put in even *more* PSP stuff is a pain.
On the other hand, I don't complain when I buy a PC or DS or PSP game and see another game advertised on the back page of the manual. The bulk of the content here is PSP, so why worry?

Sorry Hater, Kichigai is right. And apparently, you don't have a clue on who uses a Mac. I'm a Windows developer by trade, and Windows is not allowed on my home network, I know too much about how it works. It's all OS X and Linux. No native Windows allowed PERIOD, boot camp, parallels or Virtual PC.
When I get a chance I'll probably reverse engineer the packs and write a Mac installer.
