Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters is one of the few titles from Sony that will future Infrastructure multiplayer in the future. Gamer Advisory Panel members just received an e-mail inviting them to a beta test, with registrations limited to the first 2000 entrants. (We're not allowed to link to the application form, sorry!) With a beta test happening in the coming weeks, Ratchet & Clank is probably pretty far along in development. The game's supposedly going to come out in March, but wouldn't it be awesome if it came out just a little bit earlier?
If any of our readers are GAP members and partake in the beta test, shoot us a comment. We'll try to make you famous.

I just signed up for the beta test. Generally, it takes forever and a day for them to actually get the software to us to test. Don't hesitate to drop me a line.

Yeah, I just signed up, according to their 'official statement' it could take as long as 10 days to hear anything back from them... which really means 2 months. So we'll see!

It says you need to update to "homebrew killing" firmware 2.81. -_- Why Sony why?

Dangit, I checked my email a little too late. By the time I checked, and upgraded from 2.8 to "no-homebrew-whatsoever 2.81" they had already reached their 2000. I have done quite a few sony betatests, unfortunately this (and the gt4 online beta) i missed out on.

Did anyone else notice this part of the email: "Please note that this beta is ONLY playable online on your PSPĀ® system via a wireless Internet connection. No offline version is available."? Should be interesting to see how this is implemented. Also, you can sign up for these things using Firefox and User Agent Switcher ( https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/59/ , userAgent="Mozilla/4.0 (PSP (PlayStation Portable); 2.81)"). Although you'll probably need to update to 2.81 to play the demo anyway, so I don't know if there's really a point.

Your pissed off, so you are going to violate the terms of the beta by buying one off of ebay? Good luck there.
The betas were also sent out at 7pm EST, so you could of signed up for it before you fell asleep.
