There are way too many PSP games at this year's Tokyo Game Show. Because not all of us have time to read all the impressions and previews of all the games coming out, PSP Fanboy has created this nifty guide for all the games that were previewed. You'll get a thumbs up or a thumbs down from the major video game news sites. If a game looks like it might be a real winner, we'll award it "The Official PSP Fanboy Entranced Korean Award." These are the games that'll end up in Korea on giant PSPs, luring people to their eventual doom. And, that's pretty cool. Read on to see all the previews!

Not all the major game sites have posted up previews of all the PSP games at the show, but this list should give you a great idea of how much excellent software is coming down the line. Almost all of these games were favorably previewed by the critics, except for a few rare cases, such as Ape Escape Racer, Gundam Battle Royale, Fish Eyes Portable, PaRappa the Rapper (unfortunate), and Chotto Shot. Regardless of those somewhat lackluster previews, there's tons more to get excited about. If people bash the PSP, just remind them of the excellent line-up to come: Ace Combat X, Gunpey, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, Jeanne d'Arc, Kingdom of Paradise 2, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Metal Slug Collection, Monster Hunter Freedom 2, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology, Valhalla Knights and Winning Eleven 2007. Wow. Get your wallets ready... it's going to be an amazing ride.
[Data compiled from IGN, 1UP and Gamespot. One may notice that IGN had far more previews than the other sites. Hmm.]

And how many great DS games were shown? :D
In all seriousness, this definitely looks to be a stellar line-up going into this Fall and Winter. PSP games are finally stepping up in terms of quality and that will be something that everyone will have to admit to when these bombshell titles drop and the PSP sales pick up.

from these line-up, seems like the psp is living up to its statement of 200 more games before the end of the year. everything looks promising, not to mention that more than half of these games look great.
in the neverending battle of the handhelds, the psp have been pounded on for a long time. i believe this is the time it stood up and fought back.

Can't wait for the GPS or the camera. Especially with the oncoming PS3 interconnectivity.

Some pretty good looking games in that list.
Tales of the World should be good, as well as FFVII, and while I've never played any MGS games, I'm sure people will love that one.

I propose that this post be updated with some sort of "Official PSP Fanboy Giant Crab Award" for the crappier games with, uh, weak points. That could allow for massive damage. Yeah.

There's a lot of great games upcoming for the PSP. I hope all of them are eventually brought here to the states. I'm looking forward to MGS, Pilot Academy, the GPS, the Camera, Parappa and Ratchet and Clank.
Still hoping for one of those SF Bags PSP case!

You're kidding with some of these right? Some of these games look utterly forgettable. Gundam (the last great Gundam Game was for the Dreamcast) looks downright cheesy and as for that ape escape-Kart thing, come on, It's already been done to death.
On the other hand, Gunpey and (provided it's not a FPS) the FFVII interest me. I'm hoping Prappa is as trippy as I remember and Jean D'Arc lives up to the hype.

RE: Gonzo
You have failed to notice that Gundam and Ape Escape did not receive awards, as can be seen by their negative previews. This is a list of all games previewed, and not all of them are winners. Even the text notes that games like PaRappa were previewed quite poorly. The rest, on the other hand, did quite well.

I only see Final Fantasy VII. The others are just fluff.
