Gamespot has just posted up new media of the upcoming Q? Entertainment games, Gunpey and Every Extend Extra. Of note is the comprehensive interview that goes over the features of the PSP version of Gunpey. The interview reveals there are 5 artists contributing music to the game, each with their unique genre. One of the new features for the PSP version is the 10x10 mode, which has you creating a horizontal line twice the length of the original. (Trust me, that won't be easy!) According to the interview, the beginner gamer can squeeze out about 20 hours of gameplay out of this title. But, can you really quantify the amount of time you spend with a puzzler? Hell, I still play Lumines.

I've been waiting for both of these titles, they both look fun but they better come out for less that $40. $30 would be an acceptable price point.

I still play lumines too, though my loco rocos have been getting the most attention lately.
I think you hit the nail right on the head there. The best thing about the guys over at Q is that they make great games that you can play over & over & over again. It's one thing when you're compelled to play to unlock more stuff but when you're compelled just by the fun of it and you've played it so much you unlocked everything and yore burning out your 80th acid flashback, that's a game with real replay value. Few games have that; those Q guys have it down, whoever made the last couple of Burnout games has it down, and I'd say the folks at namco have it down too on account that I can't stop rolling katamaris (amongst other things). Don't do Drugs Kids!
To give you an idea of how well Tetsuya and his band of tripping men have it down: Rez is still one of my all time favorite games and I've been playing that since it came out for the dreamcast. I can't wait for Gunpey and Every Extend Extra. Can we start calling that e3 now that there is no e3 event anymore?
