Steve reports that a new version of
Devhook is available for you homebrewing folk out there. The latest version allows you to run homebrew directly from emulated 2.71 firmware, so there's less need to messily switch between firmwares. Now that you can run legal games
and your
illegal games original fanboy productions, it seems like the emulated 2.71 is better than the real deal.

The PSP 'scene' is having some of its best times lately, what with the recent deluge of downgraders, and one of the most awesome pieces of homebrew, Devhook. And guess what? Booster has just raised the bar with his latest incarnation of Devhook. Apparently, the latest release supports 2.71 reboot. Or in other words, 2.71 Emulation! Now that we're caught up, the ball is in Sony's court!

Hehe, at least it'll make the 3.0 firmware arrive faster :-)
I'm on 2.71 and afaik there's no downgrader... but I have too many unfinished games anyways.

So, like the smart guy I am, contrary to the instructions I installed the 2.71 reboot.bin before 2.60... How do I fix this? Anyone?
