I can only hope that this game is going to be as good as it sounds. I can not wait to get my hands on this game!
Does anyone know anything about the story on this one?

PSP411 is quoting a Gamespot article. That's why it starts off with "GS said:". If you read the whole PSP411 post, they have a link at the very bottom of the to the original Gamespot article. You should probably just link directly as well and cut out the PSP411 reference.

The story is how Big Boss became such a jerk in Metal Gear. He is charged of treason or something at the beginning because Fox (His old team I guess, I havent played Solid #3) flipped out and to prove his innocence he needs to kill them. So he makes Foxhound.

I really hope this turns out great also, I have a PSP and have always loved the Metal Gear series. Ac!d 1 really was a great game but to slow and not like real Metal Gear. I think one reason it cant be all that great though is because the UMD's are only 1.80 GB (Dual Layer) And that is not that much compaired to the DVD/Blueray Disks for Playstation 2. They need to take their time and not rush this game like Ac!d 1/2.

Was Acid rushed? I also enjoyed the game, and I think most people that gave it a chance also did. Most of the haters are such blind MGS fans that to create a strategy game based on the MGS canon was so blasphemous that they never gave it a fair shake.
I don't think UMD size is an issue. Many PS2 games don't even break 2 gigs. PSP games are now rivaling 1st and 2nd gen PS2 games in many respects. Daxter, Dark Mirror and Monster Hunter... I have high hopes for this.
