Speculation of Gitaroo-Man making
the trip to the PSP were confirmed yesterday when a listing on Sony Japan's retail site noted the rhythm-based title,
called Gitaroo-Man Live!, would be released on the 25th of May. While there still is no official word from the
title's developer, Koei, the rumors that have been
circulating about the game appearing on the PSP suggest that Koei's announcement may be little more than a formality.
There's also no news if the game will ever be released outside of Japan. However, if Gitaroo-Man on the PS2
was any indication, there's always a chance it could see some action on US soil.Strange as the game may be, it does have its share of fans, all of whom we're guessing are already drooling at the thought of taking their Gitaroo on the road. Yeah, we always assume that gamers are that desperate. We're mean that way.

I've been praying for there to be a Guitaroo man sequel ever since I finished the first one. The story, artwork, music and gameplay of the original are amazing. A true PS2 classic. Bringing it to PSP is awesome news for a platform lacking in really engaging and original games.
Please, please, please distributors, license this game and translate it for us Engrish speakers!

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! On DS was made by Inis, a splinter of Koei who were responsible for Gitaroo Man. Ouendan is an awesome game. DS is better than PSP.

why has nobody mentioned the hurdle that the analogue stick was the main and only means of control in this game? did everyone forget that the psp doesn't have one? playing gitaroo man on a d-pad would not be nearly as gratifying as hitting a bending crescendo at the end of a finale.

Wow.. yeah it is too bad that there is not an analog stick on the PSP - oh, hold on! There is!!!
Gitaroo-man on the PSP, that's +1 for the solid PSP games. About time - This needs to make it over here, too bad that it will probably take forever to do so.
+1 to the must import list.
