Gundam Seed brings hot mech-on-mech action
Who would've thought that a licensed anime game could ever look so enticing? Ruliweb got some hands-on time with the newly released Japanese import, and it looks absolutely fantastic. The battles look like a blast (pun intended), with some miraculous mech action on display. The game has all the production values from the original anime, from TM Revolution's intro to Souichiro Hoshi's grating adolescent voice. Gundam fans will have a tear come to their eye when they see Victory flash on the screen, with See-Saw's ending playing in the background. Is this not some truly spectacular fan service?

Watch PaRappa rap right on your PSP [m]
Ruliweb got the sweet hookup with some exclusive footage of the PSP version of PaRappa the Rapper. For some mysterious reason, Sony decided to release this on UMD instead of making it downloadable, but hey-- I don't have a PS3, so it works out for me. You can visit Ruliweb to download the clips to your computer, or you can make with the wi-fi and head over to m.pspfanboy.com to download PSP-formatted clips directly to your machine now.
DJ Max Portable 2 announced
Some of you have figured out that I like music games... a lot. So, when Ruliweb reports that import-favorite DJ Max Portable is getting a sequel, I have no choice but to pass it on to all of you. The sequel ups the ante by introducing one more gameplay mode, and by expanding the soundtrack to 150 songs. Wow. There's no word if the sequel will get the English language treatment like its predecessor, but I'm hoping.

DJ Max Portable, for non-Korean speakers
The PSP is no stranger to some excellent music games. Unfortunately for us English-speaking blokes, these games rarely get translated into a language that we can read. Ruliweb has discovered a new version of the Beatmania-clone DJ Max Portable. The International Edition of the game features English language text and one new song that can't be found in the original ("River Flow" by Planetboom).No hardcore PSP fan will be caught without DJ Max Portable. Now that it's in English, there really is no excuse not to have it.
