Deal of the Day: Buzz Master Quiz for only $15

Are you a PlayStation Underground member? If you are, you may have already seen this one in your inbox. The latest e-mail from the official PlayStation community sends you a link to a coupon that's good for Buzz! Master Quiz or Buzz! Quiz TV on PS3. It knocks off $5 off the MSRP of $19.99. That's a brand new PSP game for only $15.

The offer is only good at Best Buy retail stores and will last from now until October 25. Just follow this link to grab the coupon. Go print it out and then head on over to the store to get the discount. Anyway, you've still got a month to decide if you want to take advantage of the offer or not; while you mull things over, have a read of our review.

Deal of the Day: Castlevania for $20 at Amazon

We haven't heard much about Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles as of late, but that's probably because everyone's been hunkered down playing it. For those who haven't, however, have we got a deal for you! Right now, Amazon has slashed the price on the game to only $20 with free shipping.

Our very own Nick Doerr gave the game an 8.5 when he reviewed it, and even said, "If you love Castlevania, this is the definitive game to get." Well, there you have it; if you're a Castlevania fan, this should definitely be in your library.

Cheap UMD movies at Circuit City this week

Believe it or not, major retailers are still carrying UMD movies, but Circuit City is most definitely the place to go to add to your collection this week. Through Sunday, the retail chain is offering several great titles for only $7 a piece.

Here's the full line-up:
  • Spider-Man 2
  • Spider-man
  • XXX
  • Men In Black
  • Big Daddy
  • Bad Boys
  • Underworld
  • S.W.A.T.
  • Hitch
  • Click
If you'd like our personal picks, we'd have to go with Men in Black and Underworld. Both take interesting twists to their respective genres and are damn entertaining. While you're there, look for Mortal Kombat: Unchained, because it's on sale for $14.

Deal of the Day: Cheap PSP games at Gamefly

After opening your gifts on Christmas, we're sure there were a few cards with several $20 bills tucked neatly inside, and now it's just burning a hole in your pocket, right? Well, if that's the case, we'll help ya spend it! Through Jan. 4, Gamefly is having a great sale on a ton of PSP games, and to make it all the more sweeter, every game comes with free shipping.

Here are just a few of the great deals to be had.
  • Coded Arms - $7
  • Death Jr. - $10
  • Infected - $10
  • Ultimate Ghosts 'N Goblins - $13
  • Tomb Raider: Legend - $15
  • Crush - $18
  • Valhalla Knights - $20
With such great deals on some pretty darn good games, it's hard to turn away. If you want extra-special-mega-epic cool points, be sure to pick up Crush; it's one of the generation's most original and oddly unique games you'll play.

Deal of the Day: Psyclone Nodus PSP Speaker System $10

Have you seen those yuppie types who think they need a huge speaker system for their tiny Ipod? Well, did you know the PSP also has rather large speakers systems itself? And right now, you can pick up the Pysclone Nodus Speaker System for $15 shipped at NewDayNewDeal.com.

Powered by two 15-watt speakers, the Psyclone Nodus also doubles as a PSP docking station allowing you to recharge your PSP while watching videos or listening to your favorite mp3s. You better hurry up, though, because this deal ends tonight at midnight.

Note: This will most likely not be compatible with the PSP-2000.

Pre-order Castlevania, get a free Belmont figure

Chances are most PSP owners are chomping at the bit to get ahold of Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles as soon as it's available, but Gamestop's making that decision even easier. People who pre-order the game before it releases Oct. 23 through Gamestop's website will get a free "8-bit Simon Belmont figure."

We couldn't imagine passing up on Dracula X Chronicles as it features an enhanced Rondo of Blood version as well as unlockable versions of Symphony of Night and the original Rondo of Blood for a mere $30, but the old-school Belmont figure is just icing on the cake.

If you're looking to get in on this deal, you better hurry as it's only good until supplies last.

Deal of the Day: Used PSP for $100 at Gamestop

If you're not quite ready to make the jump to the PSP-2000 or just need a spare system for some "extra curricular" activities, you should know Gamestop is selling used original PSPs for only $100.

This deal doesn't work online, so you'll have to get off the couch and actually go down to the store. You better hurry, though, because this deal expires Sept. 27.

Deal of the Day: Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee for $6

Deal of the Day: Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee for $6If Prostroke Golf wasn't your taste and you want to try a more "arcadey" golf game, look no further than the Hot Shots series. And right now you can get Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee for only $6 shipped at Familyvideo.com.

Just follow these simple, step-by-step instructions for cheap-gaming bliss.
  1. Create a new account.
  2. Add the new member code NEWMEM96 to get $5 off your purchase.
  3. Add Hot Shots to your cart.
  4. Checkout.
The game received a perfect 100 score from Gamespy, and they said, "For a truly surreal experience, take Hot Shots out to the course during your next 18, and play a hole or two in between real holes. The only danger there is the rest of your group might become too hooked on what you're doing on Open Tee rather than finishing the real round."

Deal of the Day: Free $20 game with purchase of Core PSP at Meijer

Deal of the Day: Free $20 game with purchase of Core PSP at MeijerIf you just so happen to be in the market for a new PSP, you might be interested to know that you can currently get a free $20 game with the purchase of a Core PSP at Meijer stores.

I'm not totally sure how Meijer prices its non-Greatest Hits games, so you may or may not have to choose from the Greatest Hits library. But if you're looking for some wrestling action and have plenty of time on your hands, WWE Smackdown 2006 was just recently dubbed a Greatest Hit.

You better hurry, because this deal is only good until Nov. 18.

Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max

Yeah, most of these games are a tad old, but we gotta take the deals as they come to us, right? It doesn't look like this deal is currently being offered online, so you'll have to get off the computer and go outside.

Deal of the Day: Bust-A-Move Deluxe $10 at Circuit City

Deal of the Day: Bust-A-Move Deluxe $10 at Circuit CityI've had a soft spot for the Bust-A-Move series ever since I fell in love with it on the Sega Saturn, so it really made my day when I saw that Circuit City is selling Bust-A-Move Deluxe for only $10.

The deal is good in-store or at Circuitcity.com, however, it's currently showing out of stock on the website.

Deluxe has a 73 percent Gamerankings score and includes new characters, a new Ghost mode and has more than 1,000 puzzles. I haven't had a chance to play it, but with this amazing deal, it's just too good to pass up.

Deal of the Day: Gradius Collection $15 at Best Buy

Deal of the Day: Gradius Collection $15 at Best BuyIf you're like me and have recently been bitten by the old-school gaming bug on the PSP, you'll be happy to hear of a nice deal at Best Buy. You can currently snag Gradius Collection for only $15 by using Best Buy's Gamer Gift Card.

You see, the Gamer Gift Card gives you $5 off a $20 or higher game. All you do is buy the gift card, put a few bucks on it and use it to slash a quarter of the price off any $20 game. Pretty easy, huh?

And with the recent news of Konami releasing more classic shooters, picking Gradius up will just get you all the more ready.
