As promised, the video service is now live. You can download television shows and movies onto your PSP or PS3. For the PSP, you can log on to the PC Store and hit that "video" icon that's up on top of the screen; it's slightly to the center but leaning more towards the left. You see it? Click that and you can get to the video side of the PS Store. We'll be going in-depth with this new feature very soon, so watch out for our hands-on.

So, the Xam'd episodes are 2.99 - 3.99 to rent and all others are 1.99 to purchase. Thanks Sony, but Europe's Movement episodes are free and cooler. Umm... Sony... btw thats $78 - $104 to RENT the two seasons. that could pay for alot of Netflix. Thanks

Just purchased "Close Encounters of the Third Kind", but it won't play. It says "The Copy Right Protection Information is Invalid"? I'm running regular firmware and updated to 4.05.
I knew I was gonna get screwed somehow. anyway...
What gives?

Just downloaded and put a Metalocalypse episode on my Psp. Sweet.. though $2 and change for a 15 minute show kinda sucks.
The movies are all over 2 gig in the Ps3 store. If we try and copy them to our Psp will they shrink it? I wish it would say Psp file size. Because I only have a 2g card.

OK, got it to finally work by re-plugging and moving and turning things off and on. Don't really know what I actually did, but it finally downloaded the whole thing and worked (after 6 tries... stupid PC).
The movie file is crazy large - 2.18 GB, but looks and sounds great. I don't know how I feel about it. Its great to not have to carry around so many UMDs, but I miss the physical box and disc. Especially since buying it from the PSN and/or Amazon.com cost about the same.

I like the concept. I'm glad that we can watch stuff on the PSP, but why the hell should we have to pay Sony for this privilege. They should be providing us software so we can do this ourselves. This whole idea of micropayments, meaning a little here and a little there for stuff we should be able to do freely and easily drives me crazy. Sony, just give me some freaking software for our PC's.

am i the only one that has a problem with how large these movies and episodes take up of memory?? i have a 4 gig but still...i could put like 1 movie and more than half of memory would be taken. i have juno on my psp (got it from limewire) and it takes up 530 mb,then i go to the playstation store and the same movie takes up like 1400 mb! wtf is up with that?! if they make movies for psp they should make the files smaller. is that to much to freakin' ask?!?
