More screenshots of Fate/Tiger Colosseum UPPER are here to look at. The super-deformed hijinks look colorful to say the least. It might be a promising fighting game, one for all ages ... unlike the game's seedy origins. The game is set for an August 28 release in Japan, so importers get ready.
Speaking of importers, you might be interested in this extra bit of news: the game is getting a limited edition "Megamori Box." Included in the box is a set of Tarot cards specific to the series, a card binder, a Drama music CD, a DVD, and a 72-page booklet. All for ¥9,800 ($94.28). Yikes, that's quite a lot of cash to be forking over for a slightly obscure PSP game. We're not even paying that much for the MGS4 limited edition on the PS3. Possibly the most expensive limited edition on the PSP (excluding those bundled with the system)? Maybe.

Oh boy this game looks like a serious piece of crap. And I'm talking after watching several gameplay videos, not only screenshots. Luckily it'll never get localized.
But Capcom, where are the REAL fighting games? C'mon, give us SF3, Rival Schools....heck, even Star Gladiator would make the trick.

It does look like crap, but it's really popular in Japan and actually sells.

Mr. Athab, it's very impolite of you to say that Fate is a seedy game. Fate/Stay Night is one of the most brilliant visual novel in Japanese ACG history, and it has only a few mature elements compared to other eroges.
This title looks crappy though.

Yeah, "seedy" seems pretty harsh, especially when you compare Fate to most other h-games. Hell, the PS2 version removes all the sex and it's still successful because of the story... sorry, I'm touchy about it because I love Fate/stay night and hate when people dismiss it as "LOL SEX GAEM". D:
Anyway, all the original Fate/tiger colosseum had going for it was the little stories which don't really mean anything unless you a) understand Japanese and b) know the F/sn universe. The actual gameplay was pretty crap and this looks like the same thing but with Kiritsugu, Avenger, and swimsuits... I'd rather see a PSP version of Melty Blood, the (quite good) 2D fighting game based on another visual novel by the company that made F/sn.
