In Japan, singles usually go from $10~$15 while albums usually start at $25 or so. I believe the UK also charges near this level for audio CDs.

I just ripped all the music from my UMD. Is that illegal? I don't think so... But I have the soundtrack nearly a month before it's available. 8)
