The PSP has always been a strong system for racing games. However, how do this year's releases stack up? (And sorry, Wipeout Pulse won't be eligible until next year.)
And the nominees for PSP Fanboy - Best Driving Game of 2007 are:
Burnout Dominator
EA UK | Electronic Arts

EA UK | Electronic Arts

Burnout Dominator faithfully brings the Burnout experience to the handhelds. In fact, the PSP version was the one to get, featuring more content than its console cousin, and downloadable levels to boot. Good graphics, tight controls and the series' trademark penchant for destruction. What more could you want?
Sega Rally Revo
Bugbear | Sega

Bugbear | Sega

Sega Rally Revo takes off-road racing and puts in the palm of your hands. Sega's slippery racer controlled very well on the PSP and featured some advanced graphics and physics. In fact, some consider the PSP version to be far superior than its next-gen counterparts.
Test Drive Unlimited
Krome Studios Melbourne | Atari

Krome Studios Melbourne | Atari

Atari promised to recreate the open-world experience of Test Drive Unlimited for the PSP port. And they succeeded. Test Drive lets you drive around a virtual recreation of Hawaii, and lets you race against others in a massively multiplayer online environment. Ambitious? Very much.

wow, there are so many jerks on this site. Some people above me, need to chill out.
Anyways, Test Drive Unlimited is one of the better driving games for the PSP, so i will go with that

While we're being jerks, "superior TO," not "superior THAN." Sorry, had to do it.

My pick is Burnout Dominator (though I prefer Burnout Legends).
I like the idea of Test Drive Unlimited but I don't think I can put up with driving games where there isn't any car damage.

Test Drive was decent. I liked Burnout Legends better than Dominator, so that sort of ruined it. Why is the picture of these articles made out of PS3s? I don't really understand that.

1. Burnout: better then Legends, I had them both with me on vacation, and Dominater is better then Legends.
2. Test Drive Unlimited: very big, and nice off/online combination
3. SRR: Sux. Plays like a game for cell phones...

First off, i absolutely LOVE driving games, been hooked since the first gran turismo
I haven't played Burnout (never much of a fan of the burnout series) so i can't render an opinion on that.
I did buy TDU and SRR, and i would have to say that out of the two TDU is better, but IMO driving games on the PSP just dont work for me, i have to play em on a console. So i guess my vote would be for TDU.
