Square Enix's epic Final Fantasy VII prequel is coming to the US at last! Square Enix confirmed today that the PSP exclusive will arrive on March 25th. The game follows the adventures of Zack and his life as part of SOLDIER. Along the way, he'll meet familiar faces, like Cloud, Sephiroth and more. Crisis Core has been rated T by the ESRB for Blood, Mild Language, Mild Suggestive Themes and Violence.

I already own the Japanese version of Crisis Core and its safe to say that I will be getting the US version as well. Crisis Core is an incredible game and even though I do not understand Japanese, I can get a good idea of what is going on in the plot when watching the cutscenes. FOr all of you FF VII fans out there, all I have to say is that after playing Crisis Core, you will have a lot more respect for Zack and you will understand why Sephiroth is the way he is.

As to the whole God of War thing, I've played the battle of Attica demo and was floored. I personally do not think that having both Crisis Core and GOW released in March will clash with each other because both franchises pack enough punch to stand on their own two feet. Infact, I think that a lot of people will end up buying both in the same month. These are the killer apps that everyone has truly been waiting for and after playing the hell out of both of them, I know that Crisis Core and GOW go beyond the hype. March is going to be an excellent month for gamers. If you think PSP sales are doing phenomenal now, wait till these two games launch. Now if Capcom would just continue work on Devil May Cry for the PSP, things would be great. It would also be nice to see Gran Turismo Portable for once as well.
