PS3 owners can now download the PS1 classic, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night from the PlayStation Store for only $10. The downloadable game will play on both PS3 and PSP systems. For those without PS3 systems, players can find a version of Symphony of the Night included in the upcoming Dracula X Chronicles.

this game has a bug in it. try it when you come to the portal in order to move to the other side of the castle then the game hangs up or crashes.

An open letter to Sony:
Please please PLEASE give the PSP the ability to download these PS1 games independently of the PS3. You have plenty of loyal fans who simply don't have the means to drop $600 on another console. You are so concerned about people using emulators, well this is the chance to, you know, actually do something about it.

I can confirm the bug in SotN. When you get to the outer wall and use the transporter for the first time and then return to the outer wall area(using the transporter again), the game freezes and the PSP turns off by itself shortly thereafter. I played through the game to get to the same area on the PS3 and the bug doesn't happen.
Hope there aren't more bugs throughout the game. = [
