Free Running garnered a decent review, but a release date is now strangely absent for fellow gamers across the pond in North America. Attempts to locate a U.S. release date on major retailers like GameStop, Amazon and GameFly, all bring up blank pages, whereas earlier reports showed a similar March release date. With a lack of alternative sports tittles currently available on the system, PSP owners in North America may feel the sting of drought for awhile longer.
Japanese fan site PSP GadgetZ has been obsessing over the title, capturing more than half a dozen videos of the game. Watch for yourself and tell us if you think this violence-free Prince of Persia-styled game sparks your fancy.

Remember how I said Tour De France game is going to the be worst game of the year? I change my mind, this game will win it.
What the hell is this? is there no more exciting sports than Free Running? It's like Sonic gone retarded (and that's no compliment, just look at Sonic games of late)
At least add some kind of fighting in there. like punch someone or something, Geez. and people complain nobody's buying PSP games.

That actually looks like an interesting game, so how come no US release date??? If you're interested in seeing some more of this parkour stuff, check out the French movie 'The District: B13'.

kingofwale, you're an a**. If you're completely ignorant on the matter, just shut the h**l up. Cuz this game is really fun (I got the EUR version). To sum it up, it's like a Tony Hawk game on foot. You can do wall climbs, flips, wall running, etc. It's all about completing tasks in style, keeping up the momentum, doing nifty tricks and not killing yourself in the process by falling off a 10-story building. Anyone interested in skill games and alternate sports, should check it out.
Oh, and Miles Pieri: it probably has no US release date cuz jerks like kingofwale just reject what they cannot understand... and say BS like "they should add some fighting in there".

I'm an ass because I don't agree with you? Bravo, Thank you, you just TOTALLY won that argument right there.
why there's no US date? because it's one dimensional and lacks any kind of replay value.
if there's a way you can throw a punch or two to at least interact with your opponent.. or the ability to pick your own course. Then I will rethink of it.
other than that, not interested WHATSOEVER.

i have this game as well. its pretty damn fun. it very much is prince of persia meets tony hawk. other than the annoying tutorial, that main game is very fun. the video right there btw is a checkpoint race.

Solo, explain to us what makes the game fun.. since you've played it before.
because looking at all the videos, it looks like TMNT to me
and I gave that game 1.5/10 on GameSpot

A game like this has to have the ability to punch or kick a pedestrian to be entertaining? What a silly notion. Be more open-minded, kids.
That said, I tried it and didn't like it. The subject matter had nothing to do with it. The gameplay just wasn't as smooth and seamless as I hoped it would be.

the ability to at least somehow affect your opponent's process will bring some much needed replayability to the game. Also, it would add another dimension to this game.
of course you don't need to punch anybody, This is a game that shouldn't take itself too seriously. Mario Kart is the master of that.

No. You're an ass because you bash the game just based on ignorance (And you keep doing it by saying it's one-dimensional, cause it's not). Besides, you like to act big as if you OWN the truth ("Add zome fightin cuz THIZ is why noone buys PSP gamez lol"). Since when America is you? That attitude just pisses me off. Get some REAL info on the game, then comment. What, are you 14 or something?
Anyway. Putting fighting elements in a game like this just wouldn't work. This is a sports game. Of the weird kind, but a sports game.
Oh, and the game isn't about racing or one-dimensional, mind you. Racing an opponent is just one alternate event in the game. It doesn't revolve around that. It revolves around nailing cool-looking tricks, getting to difficult-to-reach places, getting hi scores, all in open environments. That's why I compared it a little with Tony Hawk.

well, isn't it just my life long goal to PLEASE you? Get it a break, why would I care if I piss you off? I was unaware that if anyone disagree with you, it's becacuse they are an ass.. (just look at the ignorance on that statement)
>. It revolves around nailing cool-looking tricks, getting to difficult-to-reach places,
sounds pretty 1-dimensional to me. Considering what you can do is very limted. Don't even compare to Tony Hawk, can you do customizable combos??

Funny, I am actually very excited about this game AND the Tour De France game. kingofwale, a game isn't going to be bad simply because you're not interested in it. Niche games are a good thing.
