If I didn't know that this game had like a billion hours of excellent gameplay I'd never give it a second look based on that 4+ minute yawnfest ...
I know later FF games are all full of teen angst and overloaded with cutscenes, and while I like the style, I want to *play* a game, not watch cutscenes ... and half the gameplay footage they showed basically had 20 people on a field doing a potty dance ...
But like I said, we already *know* this game is going to be excellent, so it is not like there is a risk :)

I dig cutscenes (and the UMD format) I find they're a nice facet of gameplay. The nice thing about them is that if I'm not in the mood of watching them, get this txa1265, I simply press a button and they're bypassed.

I know, I know - but when I see a game movie I like to get a feel for how it is going to play out. We're getting more of a feel for how the FF I & II games will actually look and play, which is great. I had hoped for some full-on gameplay movies. Maybe soon.
I think it is great the extent to which they are enhancing this game - there might be questionable value factors with FF I & II ... but not here.

Gameplay is already ultra-known to us... that's why the preview goes around cutscenes and artwork, the new content this version will have. Besides, the page is intended for japanese people who dig storylines above anything else, so quit complaining.
IMO the great new cutscenes will add to the drama factor FFT already had with its great musical score and plot.

it is actually an excellent video, you get to see the art work and its characters. you get to see the battle screen, job classes as well as the special summon thing where you have to press a string of buttons.
I believe this will come out in Japan in May? This will sell like hot-cake, let's hope it boost PSP sale big time, until the next big title comes out. (Castlevania I believe)
