VGGEN is reporting that the Art of Fighting Anthology that was originally set for PS2 is also coming to PSP and Wii. This continues this console release combination that has been so popular recently. For those who don't know about the Art of Fighting franchise, it was SNK's 2nd fighting series after Fatal Fury. There were only three Art of Fighting games ever created, but characters from the series did appear in other SNK fighting titles. I am personally more interested in this anthology on PSP since there aren't a wealth of 2D fighters yet on my favorite portable. Will you be picking up Art of Fighting Anthology, or is it too old for your tastes?
No release was given for the PSP version of Art of Fighting Anthology. The PS2 version is out in May though, so hopefully we don't have to wait too long.

ok, jokes aside, I actually like this combo, instead of making a PSP exclusively with only 20 million fanbase. they will also make it for the Wii, which will increase the audience base by 30%
although if I own a Wii, I wouldn't be too happy with it, you're game is basically being produced by a company's third or fourth team.
Will I pick it up? No, just because I never even heard of the game, not to mention I already picked up Street Fighter game for PSP, but then again, if it's good enough for Wii people on TV, i'm sure it can't look that bad on PSP screen.

I'm interested, but it IS SNK. Odds are that all three ports will be broken pieces of shit and separately delayed until next year. Still..they're great games. :)

Recycled Neogeo games, wonderful. You can already play all three titles via homebrew.

Hahaha. Art of Fighting owns Street Fighter. I am so getting this collection. On the other hand, if they go the way of FF, and sell each individual game on a different UMD, then I'm not even going to consider.
And just for Mike - Boo! Make sure you -never- release that garbage known as the Fatal Fury collection. And if you do, make sure Mike can't buy any copies.

It is a shame that these games ( as well as collections such as 'Sega Genesis Collection', and the several arcade collections released by various companies ) can't be kept on a memory stick as in homebrew or virtual consoles.
I would much prefer to download from a PSP store then have to handle a UMD for every 5 or 6 ported games from older consoles.

Aw, come on, Kade. I was just kidding. AOF is cool. I'm just bitter that the Fatal Fury collection in only coming to PS2. Old fighting games look 100x better on the PSP, and play great provided you have a d-pad mod.
