Take this! Take this! My playthrough of the upcoming Dragon Ball Z game didn't really have sound, and maybe that was a good thing. No matter how fun the game may end up being, the repetitive voiceovers in this new gameplay video will certainly irritate anyone. Watch the video, and tell me: don't you want to punch Trunks in the face?

Ha!
Trunks is my favorite character in DBZ, but yeah,
if I get this game I would have to turn the volume off or down cuz its pretty annoying to hear him say
it (take this!) over and over.

The first one had the Japanese voices too.
I can't stand the American dub (I started watching the series in Japanese a long time ago), so I'll be really pissed if there's no Japanese voices in this games :/

[DBZ Nerd]Yeah, but I sure wouldn't try it![/DBZ Nerd]
Seriously though, it's 2007 FFS, why can't this problem be fixed? Do more voice work for more variety or cut the majority out, especially for normal moves. Do they even try playing it with the sound up once they've made it?

I don't know what you people are talking about. His lines are COMPLETELY different. Didn't you hear the different tone and stresses? I commend this game.

I know some of 'em have beaten me to it, but here goes:
TAKE THIS!
The game does appear a bit improved, operative component being 'a bit'.
TAKE THIS!
Regardless of endless 'take this' lines, it's looking like a fun outing, and a decent purchase - for those that haven't got the first part.
TAKE THIS!
A variable tone for the phrase "Take this!" isn't saying much more than that speech disorder exhibited by Timmy in Southpark. Crap, now I had to go reminding myself of that! (TIMMY! Timmy. TIM-MAAY!)
And...
Saiyan Armour Trunks with that friggin' bob-cut is pansy! Yeah! I can't take this! *Punches Trunks in the face.*

To be honest, this is your fault. You kept dashing and hitting (that's when he says, Take this), and you didn't do anything else besides spam and the occasional death move.

I agree with keakster. When I got the -first- game, on the -first- run... the -first- thing I did was changing voiceovers to japanese. I wouldn't even bother trying the english ones. So yeah, if there's no japanese voices option, I won't get it as well.
