Deal: Syphon Filter: Logan's shadow for $10

[Update -- Apparently, Amazon can run out of stock, but they replenish throughout the day. Keep checking back a little later if you don't see the $9.99 deal!]

The winner of last year's PSP Fanboy's Game of the Year award was Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow. The game still goes for almost $40 in most places, but now Amazon has copies of them on sale for $9.99. The complex storyline, orchestral soundtrack, excellent controls and lush graphics made it an instant classic on the PSP. At this price, you can't afford not to give it a try. Take advantage of this deal here.

Deal: Disgaea or Dragoneer's Aria for $18 each

The critically-acclaimed strategy RPG Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness is going for $14.90 + $3.40 = $18.30 over at Most places still have the game for $29.99. Be aware that while this is not the US version of the title, this Asia version has English text and menus and otherwise identical to the US release. Take advantage of this deal here.

Another RPG from NIS, Dragoneer's Aria, is also $18.30. The game was released last year in the US and received average to negative reviews, so we might want to skip this one unless you really love RPGs. The Asia version (which is again, identical to the US version) is finally coming out October 2nd of this year, and you can preorder it here.

Deal: 4GB Memory Stick for $20 ... again

Missed the deal on the 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo last month? It's okay, because they are offering the same deal again: twenty clams for a Memory Stick that will store 4GB worth of whatever you want on it. Though this will be sufficient for most user's demands, you may still find yourself needing more storage. At this price, you can afford to buy more than one. Take advantage of this deal here.

[Thanks, burandon!]

Deal of the Day: InvisibleSHIELD products half off

If you've been worried about your PSP getting scratched, whether it be on the screen or the sexy body of the handheld, we've got to alert you to a deal presented on the PlayStation Forums. Seems the InvisibleSHIELD products are all half off right now -- every model of the PSP has their own little protection piece, so knock yourself out. It might be a good idea, especially if you go rock climbing while carrying the PSP in an unzipped jacket pocket. Not that we've had that problem or anything.

Deal of the Day: Castlevania for $20 at Amazon

We haven't heard much about Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles as of late, but that's probably because everyone's been hunkered down playing it. For those who haven't, however, have we got a deal for you! Right now, Amazon has slashed the price on the game to only $20 with free shipping.

Our very own Nick Doerr gave the game an 8.5 when he reviewed it, and even said, "If you love Castlevania, this is the definitive game to get." Well, there you have it; if you're a Castlevania fan, this should definitely be in your library.

Deal of the Day: Cheap PSP games at Gamefly

After opening your gifts on Christmas, we're sure there were a few cards with several $20 bills tucked neatly inside, and now it's just burning a hole in your pocket, right? Well, if that's the case, we'll help ya spend it! Through Jan. 4, Gamefly is having a great sale on a ton of PSP games, and to make it all the more sweeter, every game comes with free shipping.

Here are just a few of the great deals to be had.

Deal of the Day: Psyclone Nodus PSP Speaker System $10

Have you seen those yuppie types who think they need a huge speaker system for their tiny Ipod? Well, did you know the PSP also has rather large speakers systems itself? And right now, you can pick up the Pysclone Nodus Speaker System for $15 shipped at

Powered by two 15-watt speakers, the Psyclone Nodus also doubles as a PSP docking station allowing you to recharge your PSP while watching videos or listening to your favorite mp3s. You better hurry up, though, because this deal ends tonight at midnight.

Note: This will most likely not be compatible with the PSP-2000.

Deal of the Day: Used PSP for $100 at Gamestop

If you're not quite ready to make the jump to the PSP-2000 or just need a spare system for some "extra curricular" activities, you should know Gamestop is selling used original PSPs for only $100.

This deal doesn't work online, so you'll have to get off the couch and actually go down to the store. You better hurry, though, because this deal expires Sept. 27.
