We decide to check out the exclusive anime Xam'd. Again, all important information is listed on the page, including options for purchase or rental. In this case, it looks like you can only rent these episodes.

For most television shows, they seem to average out around 400MB. Some can go as high as 700MB, others are as low as 250MB -- it all depends on how long the show is.
