PS3 launches, opens new connectivity

Sony wanted to take connectivity to a whole new level with PS3. When it launched in late 2006, it introduced a brand new feature for PSP users to enjoy: Remote Play. With Remote Play, PSP owners could access the contents of their PS3 through a wireless connection. Firmware 3.00 also added the ability to download games from a PS3 (such as classic PS1 titles).
