Lik-Sang threatened by Sony, closes shop
Even more bad PR for Sony as its legal action against popular import shop Lik-Sang forced it close. Its sale of import PSPs to the European market spurred a few lawsuits, and forced all other import retailers to avoid selling Japanese PSP systems in Europe. A lot of hardcore gamers felt quite a passionate hatred for Sony, after it was revealed that key individuals of SCEE also shopped at the retailer: "The list of PSP related Sony Europe orders reads like the who's who of the videogames industry, and includes Ray Maguire (Managing Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Ltd), Alan Duncan (UK Marketing Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Ltd), Chris Sorrell (Creative Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Ltd), Rob Parkin (Development Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Limited), just to name a few."
