Firmware 2.60 adds even more
PSP firmware had its most successful boon during this time: three major releases in three months. Firmware 2.60 was the last of the bunch. Released in November 2005, PSP gained the ability to subscribe to RSS podcasts, play WMA format music, and could play back copyright protected video. However, although PSP is capable of having DRM-encoded video on it, no service was ever made available outside of Japan for video downloads.
