Encourage homebrew game development
There's a lot of creative people that are working on the PSP right now. Unfortunately, Sony -- you deem them enemies. Give them tools to develop games on your system and distribute them via the PLAYSTATION Store. In fact, Microsoft is pushing XNA aggressively so that users can make their own Xbox 360, PC and Zune games. The software is absolutely free to use, and even includes tutorials. Imagine if PSP became home to the handheld equivalent of XBLA. We're pretty sure people would love making games for the PSP, and even better: they'd love actually making money off of their creations. This is a win-win for Sony and the homebrew scene.
