After our world is eventually decimated and alien life forms search through the ashes, here is what they'd find out about my wasted life: I've been playing games for as long as I can remember, but the first console I had was the NES. Super Mario Bros. became and instant addiction and I loved every Mario game since (excluding Mario Sunshine). I typically buy every system unless it rhymes with "enrage" and my gaming allegiances change depending on who I feel is doing the best job that particular generation. When I'm not playing or writing about video games, I like to bore friends and family by talking about them. Someday I hope to make my own video game and I have big aspirations, just like David Jaffe. Except instead of crying, my PSP game will make them vomit. Below I've listed some of my favorite games, so you can have a reason to hate me... Halo Series (Xbox, Xbox 360) Grand Theft Auto Series (PS2, Xbox, PSP & soon Xbox 360) Metal Gear Series (Multi-systems) Outfoxies (Arcade) Disgaea (PS2) Power Stone (DC & PSP) Rival Schools (PS1) Hitman Series (Xbox & Xbox 360) Mario Series (Multi-Systems) Ratchet & Clank (PS2 & Soon PS3) Klonoa Series (Multi-Systems) Rise of the Triad (PC) Fallout 1 & 2 (PC) And many more!

PSP Fan Art Fridays: Incredible Hulk

Do you want to share your PSP-related fan art? Send us an . A new piece of fan art will be shared every Friday.

The Incredible Hulk is coming to PSP next year, but that doesn't mean we have to wait until then to see more of the green guy. Some would argue that in the above fan art by Scarlet-Dawn, we see a bit too much of him. The angular lines compliment Hulk as a subject, and we can't help but love the fear in the dog's eyes. It also seems appropriate for Hulk to show off his angry physique on the beach. He certainly would get more tail as the Hulk, than as Bruce Banner. If you dig this fan art as much as we do, check out Scarlet-Dawn's deviantART page to peruse her other fan art. That, or you can let Scarlet-Dawn know what you think of the art in our comments section.

New Sega Rally Revo details

When SEGA Rally Revo was first announced, we weren't given a whole lot of info. Luckily for SEGA Rally fans, IGN has gotten more details on the off-road racer. Here is what PSP gamers can expect when they pop the UMD into their PlayStation Portable:

  • 34 different cars
  • 16 tracks
  • 6 different environments
  • Ad-Hoc and Infrastructure multiplayer
  • Game Sharing

This handheld edition of SEGA Rally Revo isn't a port, but rather was uniquely made for the PSP by Bugbear Entertainment (Flatout). It certainly breeds confidence in the title, when you know the developer has had experience with off-road racing before.

Heroes of the Pacific flying to PSP

EB Games has a listing for Heroes of the Pacific on PSP. While the game's official site hasn't been updated to reflect this, it seems likely this listing isn't a mistake. After all, Heroes of the Pacific already came out on PS2, so it should be a relatively easy port (assuming it's a port and not a new entry). For those that don't remember when Heroes first came out, it received much critical praise and was heralded for its impressive dog fights. The game is listed as a 2008 release, so it may be a while before we find out more info on Heroes of the Pacific.

Incredible Hulk developer named

We've already let you know that SEGA was having an Incredible Hulk game, but what we didn't know was that it would be based on the upcoming movie. We also didn't know who was developing it. The PSP edition is being worked on by Amaze Entertainment (Shrek the Third, Eragon). Movie tie-ins (like the previous titles developed by Amaze) usually suck harder than a wet/dry vac on max, but the last Hulk game was good, and we're hoping that trait follows Hulk to his latest outing. We'll find out for sure when The Incredible Hulk smashes into stores June 2008.

PSP Fan Art Fridays: Wipeout

Do you want to share your PSP-related fan art? Send us an . A new piece of fan art will be shared every Friday.

Wipeout Pulse is looking quite good. For those fans that are having a difficult time waiting for the game's release, perhaps this amazing fan art will help. Pigou obviously drew this image as an attempt to display what it would be like to pilot a Wipeout racer. The way the dashboard lights reflect off the windows is a really impressive effect. The piece also shows off the competitive nature of the game, by showing another racer on the side attempting to pass ahead. Also, while sunsets in art are a bit overdone, we can't help but love how it works with this piece. If you enjoy this fan art as much as we do, check out Pigou's deviantART page to see his other fan art. That, or you can let Pigou know what you think of the art in our comments section.

Resident Evil fans start petition for series to hit PSP

A petition has surfaced on the net, with the goal of pressuring Capcom into making a Resident Evil game for the PSP. The petition reads "We, PSP ( Playstation Portable ) owners would like Capcom to release to our beloved handheld game console at least one of the games from there famous survivor/horror franchise : Resident Evil .
We are also aware of the fact, that there is already a PSP version of the first Resident Evil game on the PSN ( Playstation Network ) but because of the lack of PS3 systems we cannot purchase this game .
Seeing the history of Resident Evil games on Playstation consoles, we can guarantee you, that the game will be a success ."

Personally, we'd like to see Capcom make an original Resident Evil entry for the PSP. Then again, when it comes down to it, we love the series enough to be happy with whatever we get (as long as it's not a Gun Survivor title).

[Thanks Joe!]

Is there still a chance for Landstalker PSP?

insertcredit found something interesting while checking out Climax's main website. Their site's picture map uses graphics that look an awful lot like an updated version of their famous title Landstalker. This of course leads them (and us as well) to wonder if this is a sign that they're still working on a PSP Landstalker. The game's website is still live, but it hasn't been updated in almost two years. Then again, Climax hasn't been doing a whole heck of a lot lately either way.

PSP Fan Art Fridays: Harvest Moon

Do you want to share your PSP-related fan art? Send us an . A new piece of fan art will be shared every Friday.

Earlier this week we explained Harvest Moon: Boy & Girl. Being the cult hit that it is though, I doubt you'd have to explain the game to the Harvest Moon faithful. Yuina surely knows all about Harvest Moon since she made this dead on fan art. This piece covers the key features of the franchise in one image. You have farm animals, crops and love. The coloring of the art is airy and subdued and certainly fits the feel of Harvest Moon. If you enjoy this fan art as much as we do, check out Yuina's deviantART page to see her other work. That, or you can let Yuina know what you think of the art in our comments section.

Harvey Birdman court room footage

PSP owners jealous that they never got Phoenix Wright, may not have to be jealous anymore. The above video of Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law seems to show a title that may be every bit as fun as Mr. Wright's courtroom antics. Our favorite part was watching Guile from Street Fighter fame lose his famous hairdo. It makes us hope that other familiar gaming stars will appear in court.

So which of our readers are ready to face judge and jury with Birdman?

Godfather II on the way

During a recent EA share holder meeting, EA let slip that they are currently working on Godfather 2. Frank Gibeau of EA Games said "The appeal of those types of games is growing as the demographics start to open up for that older demographic. We make products like Godfather 2, Army of Two, Crysis- a lot of products that appeal to that older customer". No platforms were listed for the Godfather's return, but given EA's tendency to go multi-platform in a big way with most of their titles, it's likely Godfather 2 would end up on PSP. The question is, do PSP gamers care? Did you like the original Godfather? What would you like to see improved in Godfather 2?

LEGO Indiana Jones announcement trailer

First there was LEGO Star Wars, and it drew acclaim for being a licensed game from the light side. Then LEGO Batman was announced, and LEGO fans got a smile on their face bigger than the Joker's. Now LEGO game fans can look forward to LEGO Indiana Jones. The teaser above certainly showcases the charms of Indiana Jones, while keeping the silly demeanor of the previous LEGO games. Our favorite part of the trailer had to be Indy's varying stubble. That's one gritty LEGO man.

LEGO Indiana Jones hits stores next summer. Check out the official website for more info.
