If you want to see exactly what the Store looks like, check out the video above. You'll be able to get your hands on it when the firmware goes live in the near future. Hopefully a more accessible PSP Store means we'll be getting better content updates from now on.

Looks pretty fluid. Yep, this makes it much more easy for me to start blowing money on the PSP store as well...
Now I'm only confused which version of Puzzle Quest I want to buy; PS3 or PSP.

Well if you don't use remote play (and I don't think the Puzzle Quest for PS3 supports it) and you travel a lot than go with the PSP version.

Does anyone know if the download version of PuzzleQuest has the PSP bug fixed?
I keep reading reviews where you can only see 6 of your spells and if you scroll down it will crash.
I've played demo's of this on the PC and seems like a great little game for long flights.

If you think the new features are worth it then go for it. If they're not, then don't bother wasting your money.

also, if you run custom firmware, then i don't think the 3000 can be hacked (yet).
p.s. piracy sucks

Hot damn this is looking great! Thank you Sony for FINALLY delivering a direct access PSN Store (and by the looks of it, PSN features. I'm pretty sure I saw the chat/friends icon).
Now all we need for the store is content-filled updates.

this is great since i'm on a mac. Will we be able to see PS3 content also or just PSP content. Would be great to at least get trailers which i guess would be under media. But if we could rent movies and download them to play on the psp that would be great for on the go in a hotel or something.

Wow, looks nice. Now bring some of the PSP functionality to PS3 please! Skype in particular.
Oh and hell yes to this: "All we need now is a PSP friends list (and trophies wouldn't go amiss, either.)"

Um….that TV in the background is an Sony 46″ XBR5. Anyone else notice that the PSP image fills the screen? I own that TV and I assure you that it doesn’t have a zoom that powerful. Hopefully there is a change in this FW that allows us to view the PSP image without the overscan. Wish I could pan down to see if the connection is direct from the PSP to the TV.

You'll be able to do this after the FW update...it is a direct feed...she is holding the PSP as she talks. Check 1:04 to 1:05...you can see the cable trailing off near her right hand and the cable connected to the left of the TV moving in time.

Do you still need to download your PSOne games through your PS3 before you can play them on the PSP? I've wanted Wild Arms on-the-go for awhile now and can't afford the monster obelisk to make portable PSOne travel possible.

No, you haven't been forced to use a PS3 to buy PSP content from the store in a long time... They launched the PC-based store, what? Nearly a year ago already? Check http://store.playstation.com. It'll redirect you to the appropriate spot. They'll have you install a downloader program that will transfer the downloads directly to your PSP via USB connected to your computer.

Yes, but on the PC Store, the PSOne games have a description saying that you need to download your game onto the PS3, then transfer to your PSP in order to play it.

speaking of 5.00, will older psp's get that new xmb wave? i like it but that hasn't been mentioned anywhere. surely its not a hardware issue so it can be added in an update right?
