Here's yet another video showing off the one-on-one duels of Dissidia: Final Fantasy. In the clip, you'll witness a spiritual reincarnation of a classic battle that gave birth to 20 years of Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy I's Warrior of Light goes head-to-head with Garland and the sparks are flying. Literally. Check out the vid or download it straight to your PSP.

I think it looks fine IMO.

I really think this is looking great as a game too. Some really sweet fighting capabilities here. I wish the Bleach Heat The Soul games were more like this.

Aww hell, I'd just like the Bleach games to come to the US...

Yeah it definitely looks promising, but the fights look like clusterf**ks. There's so much going on in them it's hard to follow.

I wasn't too interested in this because I'm by no means a Final Fantasy fan, but I have to say this seems like one of the more epic fighting/action mixes that I've seen. It really lets characters with insane powers fight with the same speed and insane power that they seem to have in cutscenes and stuff.

One thing that I wish they would have implemented more or better is the destruction of the background, even just cosmetically if not actually destroying it.

on some levels you can destroy certain parts. but when your playin i dont think youll be to worried about the level. its only cus we watch the video and pay attention to all detail.

Every time I watch a Dissidia video, I think, I hope to goodness that they include a Japanese voice option because dubbing over the voices when they fight would just really, really suck.

Dissing your own language aside, I can't quite pin the music going on here. Is it a new composition, or am I just very bad at picking out a familiar (or should-be-familiar) tune? Also: I never remembered Garland's Longsword drop (from PS1 onwards) being that... impressive when used.

As was mentioned, I wanna see the Cecil VS Golbeza battle!

Hm... I guess a benefit of a Japanese option would be being able to see the characters' names as they more rightly are.

it'd be crazy if genesis was the main hero for 7, i dont want another stupid cloud and sephiroth thing, like really? they dont even know each other.
and having zack would be sweet but i already have crisis core so whatever
angeal could be a possibility as well
or maybe theyd make some super awesome character with an ability from the four hero possibilities i just mentioned

Neither do most of the other ones in this game. That's the point of a "cross platform" or "cross time line" fighter.

But what's with the same pasty collision effect plastered onto points of impact, it's so boring! Reminds me of the bullet holes from Goldeneye.

Here's the catch from latest trailer we have seen.
Cloud and Tina will gonna be the main for FF7 and FF6.
This is due to the dialouge of Sephiroth and Kefka.
