A: Unfortunately, you will see those letterbox bars when playing through a TV that does not support the local resolution. There are some video settings you can play around with on your PSP, but generally the black bars will be present. Sorry!
Q: Is there a way to download items from the PLAYSTATION Store over again?
A: Once you've logged into the PC PLAYSTATION Store, you should see a link in the top-right corner that will allow you to "View downloads." From there you'll have access to any content you've already downloaded, and can therefore re-download anything lost.
Q: How can I quickly turn off the PSPs screen, without shutting the whole thing off?
A: While you can simply flick the power button up to put your unit to sleep, I believe you're looking to keep the handheld running, which can best be done by holding down the video button. It's the same button you'd use to adjust your brightness, near the "start" and "select" buttons. Additionally, holding down the music button will mute your PSP.
Q: I noticed a while back on www.PSPFanboy.com a story with the guys behind Ghostbusters: The Video Game where they mentioning that a PSP port may be in the cards. Any news on that, and could a port to our beloved portable be more / less likely now with the release issue the game is having?
A: According to the official game site, Ghostbusters: The Video Game is currently in development for the PSP, along with the DS, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2 and PC. However, recent trouble caused by Blizzard-Activision's merger have put doubt on whether or not this title will ever release. Currently, it's in need of a new publisher.
Q: Will Resident Evil ever see the light of day in a PLAYSTATION Store other than Japan's? When will SCEE and SCEA release this to PSP gamers (if at all)?
A: This one is all up to Capcom. There's definitely been more content heading to the Japanese PLAYSTATION Store than others, but there's no telling whether or not they plan to bring Resident Evil to the European/US stores.
Q: So i have been having fun with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed demo and it got me thinking is there any online for it? I have looked every where and cant find an answer so is there online or is it only single player?
A: According to an earlier hands-on with IGN, there are three multiplayer modes in the upcoming title: Force Out, Rule the Galaxy, and Force Assassin. "Force Out is a sumo-esque game where you need to get your opponent out of a ring, Rule the Galaxy is a king of the hill game, and Force Assassin is all about 'bot blasting."
Q: Some time back EA had a listing of EA Replay 2 on the ESRB site. What happened to that game?
A: We're not quite sure. Neither IGN nor GameSpot have EA Replay 2 listed as canceled, yet no information has been released since it's "leak" last year. We'll keep an eye out.
Q: Will the PSP Fanboy staff ever start reviewing the 'GAMES' content on the PC PLAYSTATION Store? (PS1 Classics and Full Games)
A: We've done many Retro Reviews, along with additional PLAYSTATION Store previews, but we'd love to continue game reviews. Stay tuned!

You and I both mate, I miss that game like hell, and while I still have it, guess what? The first CD is missing ¬_¬ That means, without first cd, having second, third and fourth is meaningless because I can't exactly start from those ones can I.
Will gladly put my cash down to play FFVII, FFVIII and FFIX on PSP again :D Good days....

I wish Sony would get on the ball, and allow for Audible content to be played on the PSP... Anyone have any info about this as a possibility?

I asked one about devil may cry for psp and why the 3000's back ring was slimmer but they werent answered either.

They get asked a lot of questions - if they don't answer yours one week then resubmit it for the next one.
I think the ring on the 3000 is smaller to identify it against a slim (otherwise they look pretty identical) and because it will be harder to scratch (mine on my slim has quite a few marks, but nothing on the main body).

The questions are just so.. noobish. I'd have liked more tricky ones and answers we've never heard about before. Anyway, thanks for the feature. At least it adds for a change.

They can only answer the questions put to them. I asked one myself (about Resident Evil) - didn't think it was noobish, I just want to play the game.
More in depth questions would help all of us, so if you can think of any send them in.

Is there an alternative music player for the (non-modded) PSP that supports playlists that span folders? Perhaps a flash-based player that could be launched via the browser?
The lack of functions on the music player is a big hurdle in really exploiting the PSP as a music player.

To turn of the PSP screen you can also just simply press and hold the screen brightness button for about five seconds and the screen will go black. The sound will still be there. To mute it you can do the same thing. If you're going to do both you might as well just turn it to sleep or off. Otherwise if you want to just listen to music without wasting more battery time you can do what I first mentioned. I do that quite often, actually, and it still works perfectly.
