If you head on over to EA's website, you can download a free, brand new cover for Madden 09 which features Favre sporting a Jets uniform. The covers are high quality PDFs, so you just have to make sure you have a good printer and some glossy paper to make the cover look legit. Might want to stop by Kinkos for that. Download the cover and replace it with the old one if you so desire.

I just want to make a suggestion to those who are downloading this new cover:
1. I used Brochure Glossy paper for my Xbox 360 Madden NFL 09 Cover replacement, and it worked out terrific.
2. To get a perfect crease, take the printed out PDF cover, then take a ruler and fold. After that put it under a heavy object.

at my walmart we have printed photos of the front cover with the jets farve to put in the cover in front of the old farve. they are literally the type of prints you'd get from the little kodak kiosks where you can print your own photos. just the front cover too no side or back. we offer them to anyone purchasing madden 09 but most customers don't care/understand/want the new covers.
