It is quite difficult to be excited about a game you don't hear much about, and so it comes as a non-shocker to hear that the game has been canceled. IGN reports that a THQ rep made this statement: "Basically, the PSP version was cancelled because of control issues ... When it was ported over to the PSP, the controls simply didn't translate well, and instead of pushing out the product with translated controls, it was canceled."
This must be bad news for Destroy All Humans! fans. For the rest of us who didn't have any vested interest in seeing alien "Willies" unleashing, we can all rest a little easier now.

Its not psp fanboy's fault that echochrome was a good game and that Sony are still trying to advertise it, via the pc store.
It's also not their fault that dissidia and birth by sleep are only two of the most anticipated games this year.
And some people do care about these japanese news. I know quite a few people whom import games, and I'm thinking of doing the same.

Sounds like you'd prefer a port of Xenophobe.

I am actually disappointed. I love the Destroy All Humans! series I even played the one for the Wii so I really wanted to also see it for PSP so I can play something funny while I am out.

I dont have a problem with PSPFanboy reporting on those games, as they are good poducts and have fans. Im just saying it seems like for a long time, thats all they talked about. When I read a variety of PSP news on other sites but see the word "EchoChrome" mentioned 5 times on one page, yeah, a little variety please :)
