We had no doubt that PSP would be successful, especially since it is the perfect game to market to the Monster Hunter crowd -- i.e. they're both games with strong emphasis on co-op gameplay. However, it is shocking to see a portable title outdoing a console game (with, arguably, a larger fanbase) like SC IV. Sega must be very pleased with itself.

@strike no plans for U.S. or europe but theres been alot of rumors of localization and with these sales (more then likely will continue) there is absolutely no excuse to bring it over. Even if it just gets a europe or U.S. release at least you know when you import it you'll understand it :p

No wonder they sell this much. With the lack of games for PSP people will run to buy any decent game on the market.

Uh, there is a huge library of quality games for the PSP, I seriously doubt anyone has played all of the 80+ ranked games for PSP.....
oh, and anarkhy, the PSP has even more games for Japan than for any of the other regions

@anarkhy theres been plenty of good games in japan lately so that doesn't really make sense europe and the U.S. haven't been getting decent games lately though.

Well that's good news, for SEGA specially. I kinda like SEGA, actually... so I'm glad. Hope that means the game will get a localization...

Don't worry, I'm not enojado. I was just bromeando for your comments about pirateo. I don't wish la muerte to nadie. Let's all hope for a western release of Fantasia Estrella Portátil!

@noshino exactly with the recent drought i've been playing through alot of games i just kinda tossed aside like wipeout pure (and all the dlc that adds alot), tekken dr i never really put the time into this one and it deff deserved, and twisted metal head on and alot more. Sure some of these are launch titles but i'm sure most psp users missed some of the good psp games in certain time periods.

You're so right. I got Kingdom of Paradise some months ago (It was a 2005 title as well) and heck, it's great. Tekken has been one of my all-time PSP faves, tho.
