Firmware 4.01 fixes issues with 4.00

How's firmware 4.00 going for you? Pretty good? Are you having any issues Googling from the XMB and changing the speed of your videos? Chances are some of you probably are, because Sony has just announced that firmware 4.01 will be released very soon. As in, within the next few hours. Don't get too excited, there are no new features. This is a bug fix for everything that went wrong with 4.00.

In our opinion, the only thing about 4.00 that needs to be fixed (or "improved," as Sony put it) is the lack of any real new features. Nevermind, eh? There's always 4.02.

Ya the 4.00 had some problems like "weird oval lines" on the
"New Search" icon.

But did any one notice the Playstation store is down...

Exactly what is going on with Sony?..First the stupid 2.36 for the now becoming boring PS3 and now this? Why Sony do you tease us I want new features both on the PSP, PS3! The wait is killing me.>=(

Lol, I googled "Sony is gay" when I tried it out. It's still in my search history. It showed the gay/lesbian sony music label. Seriously I'm not using that again. Google is my homepage. Takes the same amount of clicks.

Cuz this game drought certianly isnt cool. And these updates arent making us feel any happier. For Pete's sake, quit making these lame updates, and listen to the customers for a bit, will ya?

Ihave had issues with the PSP renaming video files, and while I don't find it to worrying, this is no doubt the issue.

I did not had any problem with the FW so i'll not update again for a while.

i think the video playback options are useless (for me) because early updates brought similar things.
