Japanese PSN updates with six more PS1 titles
News of six new PS1 games for Japan is quite a huge contrast to North America's ... zero. While it would certainly be ideal to have more vintage games on our side of the earth, we still need to remember that a tangled web of legalities are what's keeping things from moving further. Rights and ownership to digital content ... is there any program that can be implemented to speed up such processes?

More salt poured in the American PSN wounds. At this point I am tempted to learn how to hack my PSP to play Ps1 games.

We are getting an espionage-related PSone download (for PS3/PSP) this week in North America. Hold your complaining or you will look dumb.

GAH I want Crash Team Racing... I played that like a mad man back in the day. I've always been a Sony only console owner, so it's my Mario Kart substitute.

Give Sony some time, like Majed said, there are licenses on games. Final Fantasy 7 cant just be thrust up there, they need to 'rent' it from Square Enix. Also, if they put all their ps1 titles (which Sony made) up there at once, then we will have nothing after that. I say in a few months, the store may have a few better games.

If they don't want to sell them, then just buy the PS1 disc on ebay or in a bargain bin and learn to rip them and play them on your PSP.
Its seriously not worth getting in a huff about. Chances are you'll save some cash anyway. (Except on FF7, which is worth its weight in gold)

Can we please get a PS1 game today, Sony?! Six games for the Japanese store and none for US since Super R-Types was released last month. I am hoping that MGS1 comes today since Konami has a surprise or maybe it can be Syphon Filter 3? Any game I would take.

Seriously, if Sony doesn't step it up I'm switching to custom firmware so I can at least play the PS games I own (Oddworld FTW!)
