Any of these games worth picking up? I have Brave Story, but haven't put much time into it. Looks like it could be ok.

Monster Hunter Freedom 2 - $19.99 seems to be the best deal here.

Of course, in practice, none of those games will be in stores (except they will have 20 copies of Ben 10), except used ones, priced at the same old price.

The way it works is we get overstocked on these titles beforehand (last Friday) and hold them for the sale. So they should be there the first day or two that you go.

I don't think any game store where I live (Edmonton, the number one city in Canada for drunken stabbings) has more than 5 PSP games in stock at any given time.
But I hear tell the Canadian EB/Gamestop website will be adding an online store just like the US version soon, which will be awesome and save us filthy socialists some scratch on shipping and import costs.

yeah..basically all those games are crap, that is why they are going half price...its because gamestop is trying to hurry up and get rid of them so they can stock up some better games

Brave Story is one I own and I know that's a damn good rpg. $20 is a steal for that one.
Also, MHF2 is a terrific deal for fans of the series (too much work for me to enjoy, but I respect the game for what it is).

This sale is finishing up in Canada, and it's been a great one.
I picked up Monster Hunter Freedom (1) new today for $15.00. We didn't have the same games on sale up here, but looks like there are some nice choices in that U.S. list:
Downstream Panic - gets really good reviews.
Atari Classic Evolved - I like it.
Monster Hunter Freedom 2 - It's $24.99 at the EBs here.
And there are deals for all the systems, so worth checking out, tho mileage may vary.

Already own Brave Story.
Might try Monster Hunter on for size.
Besides that, there's not much that tickles my fancy.

I own and finished Brave Story. The combat engine is well done and interesting and the graphics are great. However, the story... is a snoozer. Too bad, cuz it could have been GREAT.

Crap... I just stopped into Gamestop today to buy a game when the clerk told me about the sale, and that I should stop in on Monday. Of course, he didn't tell me WHAT was going to be on sale, and I didn't think to ask, because I was going to buy FFT.
G'ah.

BEST. SALE. EXPERIENCE. EVER.
I planned on hitting several stores and digging through bins to find one or two things on my list. But the very first store had at least two of everything, alphabetically arranged in trays right up front. It took all of a couple of minutes to find everything. AND they accepted the reprinted coupon for 10% off the entire sale! Fantastic.
