Today's store update is a little confusing, but mostly pleasing. Despite
Go!Explore having no solid release date, DLC for the service is already appearing on the store. While frutstrating, it does tell us that buying the GPS add-on for the software will be very worthwhile. Especially if you travel a lot. We're waiting anxiously for the Japan map pack. Here's the full release list:
Playable content
- Everybody's Golf 2 Beginner demo (free)
- Everybody's Golf 2 Intermediate demo (free)
- Ultimate Board Games demo (free)
Add-on content
- Go!Explore Western Europe map pack (£14.99/€19.99)
- Go!Explore UK & Ireland map pack (£14.99/€19.99)
- Go!Explore Spain & Portugal map pack (£14.99/€19.99)
- Go!Explore Scandinavia map pack (£14.99/€19.99)

Well the GPS device has just appeared on the Argos website in the UK £99.
Good job on the marketing yet again... How about you advertise the damn thing now you've FINALLY got it available or would that be too much to ask?
And an advert that doesn't involve poodles or old women please....

Expensive map packs, especially for how small an area they cover. Are US buyers going to pay $20 a state? That would be $1000..... (plus 40 if they sell Puerto Rico and D.C. separately.

I'm looking forward to playing through three new demos! And a new wallpaper too - not a bad update in terms of playable content and extras...
It's also good to see that Go!Explore will be well supported by DLC (even if the selection so far has not pleased everyone).

Personaly, I think £14.99 is very cheap for maps of all the UK, considering last time I bought a map pack for the UK for tomtom, it was around £60.

I think £15 is quite reasonable too, compared to what you pay for other similar GPS services...

Yep, it's very odd. That's why I bought it immediately before there is any chance for PSN to rethink the price.
Tomtom charge 60 quid for the same maps in a bundle.
