They can pick up the Traveler Case, a hard PSP case which will store the system, Memory Sticks and UMDs -- all for $20. We spotted them on sale (with discount) at both amazon.com and buy.com. The case will be available at the end of the month.

And yet no place for Headphones and a Remote, or a Skype headset. I think I'll stick with my dreamgear case, thank you!

These have been in-store here in Arizona for over a week. I saw them at Target and GameStop/EB.

These Cases completely ruin the aesthetics of PSP for me. Screen proctor only for me.

Same here. Why hide the great new design in that ugly plastic condom?

Same here. My buddy (who owns a phat) couldn't stop praising his Logitech hard case when I bought my slim. I tried using his PSP in the case, and *hated* it. The case makes the unit way too bulky and uncomfortable.
I've been super-pleased with my RDS soft zippered case for $10. Holds the PSP, 4-6 UMDs, several memory cards, headphones, and a spare battery. And it clips on my belt. Small and unobtrusive. Goes everywhere with me.

I bought one last week... They don't hold games well... and the built in screen protector is a little too tight... It manages to put pressure on the screen under the faceplate... but it's removable...

Looks pretty good to me. I currently am using the original foam case that came with the OG PSP.

it would have been better if they kept it slimmer and took out the umd holders

The UMD holders are actually kind of nice. I've had both the phat PSP version of this case and the Logitech, and even though the Logitech had a better overall build quality, the ability to hold a couple of extra UMDs made this one more usable.
I often don't need or want my entire stash of UMDs, but having a couple on hand all in one compact unit works very well for me.
BTW, someone else mentioned something about this being too bulky. Yes, it is if you want your portable equipment to be as portable as it can be. HOWEVER, if you have relatively large hands, either this case or a Logitech can make long gaming sessions a lot more comfortable. If you're already very happy with PSP ergonomics then this might be your thing, but if, like me, you feel like your hands are turning into claws after playing for long periods of time, this is definitely worth checking out.
Also, the impromptu stand this thing makes when it's folded over is actually kind of handy. If you like watching movies while flying, it's a good bonus.

I'll not be buying this case either... My slim just has a screen protector on it and looks and feels great, and I use the (official Sony) RDS soft, zippered case for carrying it around.
The RDS case is fantastic and offers superb protection, as well as being able to carry extra stuff. (In the UK though it's £10, not $10, but still worth it.)

When I bought the launch PSP back in 2005, it came with a nice soft case that did the trick. I since sold the launch unit.
Just recently I purchased a PSP lite...to my surprise it came with the BARE essentials. But, I did end up finding the original Sony PSP soft case on Amazon for $15.
The soft case is so nice...these hard shell cases are ass.

I love my Nyko hard case for the PSP phat. Has a built in extra battery and doubles my play time.

This is similar to the one I got for my PSP Lite. I like that it can hold a couple UMDs but no spot for headphones is a drag. Also it is very bulky to play with, I think I'll use it more as a travel case then something to actually play it in.
